Galaxy Sports Bar has been a fixture in Seminyak since 2005 - one of the very first sports bars to open in the area. It was founded by Jeff, a man who did things his own way. He and his wife Ani didn’t just run the bar - they lived it. Raising three kids above the venue, Galaxy wasn’t just a business, it was home.
Jeff was the kind of bloke who knew every regular by name, poured with generosity, and cared deeply about this place. He was also the kind of bloke where, if his beloved Geelong Cats had a bad weekend, the whole bar knew about it.
After two decades, Jeff and the family relocated back to Melbourne. In late 2024, a group of businessmen took over - with a simple brief: Keep the good times rolling!
